Important Notes!
Make a difference as a volunteer! We are a new board, and we've worked
hard this past year to re-evaluate
exactly "what it means to be a Community League" (i.e. what is
relevant to residents and members in Our Community). Over the
course of those exercises, we have created a new Mission Statement
(you see it at the top of this web site), and have held several
supplementary Board sessions to review and discuss changes in our
City and neighborhoods, and how the BQCL can better serve our
Community.
Join us, and make a difference in YOUR Community League!
We currently have open board
director positions
for:
Secretary
Treasurer
Sports
Facilities
Membership
Publicity
Please
consider signing up for one of these positions. Click

"A volunteer
provides a service through a formal organization, by choice, without
financial remuneration and for the benefit of the community."
It's YOUR chance to make a difference in your community and enrich your
life and the
lives of your children and your neighbors!

Blue Quill's Got it!
Playground
Tennis
Soccer Fields
Hockey
From summer outdoor sports like soccer, softball,
sand volleyball, and tennis, to winter sports like skating and sledding (we've got our
own toboggan hill!), there's lots to keep you busy. There are indoor activities
in our great hall, too! A great park with swings, slides, and
climbing apparatus is available for use by all. You can find lots to do in Blue Quill!
Look around and see!
A Community League is only as good as the members
that participate! Please join us; help make the community in
which you live a better and safer place! If you have children,
join so that they can get involved in local sports! If you are an
empty-nester, join so that you can participate in recreational
activities (and meet new friends!). Over 4000 people live in Blue
Quill! Whether it is coaching a team, serving on the Executive
Council or volunteering in some way, joining and participating in your community league might
be one of the most personally rewarding choices you make! Send an
email to the BQCL Admin to find out more.
