Our season runs from mid April until the end of June.  In addition to soccer registration fees, there will also be a cheque required for volunteer and uniform deposits, and a community membership fee.  Space may be limited this year, so please don’t delay in using the online registration to secure a position.  Late fees will be applied after March 1.  Players trying out for Sting are also encouraged to register with their communities to hold their spot.

Referee fees have been raised, and there are new incentives for players who would like to be game officials.  Contact eesk@shaw.ca.  New coaches and volunteers are also very welcome, and full training is provided.  Be a part of community soccer!

SWEMSA rules require that all players register in the community in which they reside. Information on Outdoor Soccer can also be found at www.SWEMSA.COM or you can call 481-1015.

Teams for ages U12, U14, U16 and U18 will continue to play against teams under SWEMSA.  U10 and older players wishing to play at a more Select (competitive) level check out the STING program @ www.swemsa.com/sting/index.html

In following SWEMSA policies:

ALL players must register in the community in which they reside when that league has a soccer program.   Priority for placement of registered players will be as follows:

  • Resident player

  • Player residing within district (Communities of Blue Quill, Twin Brooks, Ermineskin, Yellowbird, Heritage Pointe and Blackmud Creek).

  • Player residing within Zone (Southwest Edmonton)

  • Community soccer programs must place every resident player on their community teams before out of community players can be placed.

LATE registrants will be placed on a team where space permits.
