Please select a program in the table below to find out more! Spring 2008 Outdoor Soccer Soccer registration for the spring 2008 outdoor is coming up fast. If you would like to register, go to www.SoccerSignup.Webspinner.ca, where you can register on-line. You will need to make your payment(s) in person.
Our season runs from mid April until the end of June. In addition to soccer registration fees, there will also be a cheque required for volunteer and uniform deposits, and a community membership fee. Space may be limited this year, so please don’t delay in using the online registration to secure a position. Late fees will be applied after March 1. Players trying out for Sting are also encouraged to register with their communities to hold their spot. Referee fees have been raised, and there are new incentives for players who would like to be game officials. Contact eesk@shaw.ca. New coaches and volunteers are also very welcome, and full training is provided. Be a part of community soccer! SWEMSA rules require that all players register in the community in which they reside. Information on Outdoor Soccer can also be found at www.SWEMSA.COM or you can call 481-1015. Teams for ages U12, U14, U16 and U18 will continue to play against teams under SWEMSA. U10 and older players wishing to play at a more Select (competitive) level check out the STING program @ www.swemsa.com/sting/index.html Registration locations:
A $20.00 processing fee will be withheld for any player who registers with Blue Quill and withdraws before April 07/08. Any withdrawals after that date will not have funds refunded. This is due to teams being made up well before this date - so additional time is required to rebalance teams. The fees and days of play per age category for 2008 are as follows:
Players must have an active community league membership. As per Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues Code of Ethics, families are to purchase a community league membership in their residing community. In following SWEMSA policies: ALL players must register in the community in which they reside when that league has a soccer program. Priority for placement of registered players will be as follows:
LATE registrants will be placed on a team where space permits. Please note: An Edmonton Community League family membership is required for every player for insurance purposes. A uniform deposit of $50.00 (cheques shredded upon return of the uniform at the end of the season) is required with the registration.
Blue Quill has a new tennis coordinator, Ivan Kawulka, who has volunteered to manage the tennis programs. A men’s fun league is already on the books so any men that want to join the weekly play schedule should contact Ivan at:
